A peer-reviewed open-access journal publishing original research, review articles, and technical communications in environmental and earth sciences. KJEES provides a dedicated platform for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners working to understand, protect, and sustainably manage the natural environment and earth systems in the face of growing global challenges.
Aims and Scope
KJEES welcomes original research articles, review papers, case studies, and short communications across all areas of environmental and earth sciences. Subject areas include climate science and climate change adaptation and mitigation, environmental sustainability and green development, renewable and clean energy systems, atmospheric and oceanic sciences, hydrology and water resource management, soil science and land use management, biodiversity conservation and ecosystem management, natural disaster risk reduction and resilience, environmental monitoring and remote sensing, geosciences and geophysics, environmental chemistry and pollution control, ecological systems and environmental health, natural resource governance and management, environmental policy, law and regulation, environmental impact assessment, and sustainable development goals. The journal is particularly interested in interdisciplinary research that connects earth system science with policy, economics, engineering, and social dimensions of sustainability. Studies that address the causes, consequences, and solutions to pressing environmental challenges — including deforestation, desertification, ocean acidification, air and water pollution, and the loss of biodiversity — are strongly encouraged. Both fundamental scientific investigations and applied research with direct relevance to environmental management and sustainable development are within scope.
